My Country and Natural Resources Map
In my country map, I have forests, cities, volcanoes, mountains, gardens, water falls, rivers, lakes, bridge between islands, beaches, and prairies. In my natural resources map, I have forests, volcanoes, mountains, water falls, rivers, lakes, beaches, and prairies. I didn't put the cities and bridge between islands because we can make the ourselves.

My Holiday
Do you know where I went for my holiday? Do you know where I stayed? Do you know what I did? Well, I will answer these questions for you in this story.
On my holiday, I went to Bali. Bali is small, but popular island in Indonesia. I stayed in a hotel called “Hard Rock Hotel Bali.” We stayed there for three nights.
In Hard Rock, I could not sleep very well. I could not sleep well because my sister’s leg was always on top of me, and she was too heavy to move. One night, I could not take it anymore, so I went to my mom’s bed. A few minutes later, my mom realized that I had a fever.
I swam every day, except the day that I got sick. The day I got sick was not very boring. It was not very boring because I learned how to cross-stitch. The first cross-stitch that I made had the words, “Sew Special” and at the bottom, it had a picture of a button.
In Bali, I also went to the water park. My favorite ride in the water park was called, “The Macaroni Tube.” I like it because we went through a tunnel and we got splashed at the front of the tunnel and at the end of the tunnel. This ride is even more fun when you go down backwards and close your eyes.
In Bali, I met some students from SPH Sentul. I met Alto, Randy, Kenny, Mike, Gea, and Dea. Randy is in my sister’s class. Alto, my sister and I went to the water park together.
Our flight back to Jakarta was at 7 pm. But it was rescheduled until 9 pm. No one had told us until we got to the airport. So we found a lounge and ate chicken nuggets from McDonalds. While waiting we read books. When it was time to board, we found seats for all of us to sit together on the plane “Air Asia.”
When we got home, we all were really tired. Even though we were tired, we all still had fun. It felt good to be back home. Now I can rest well without my sister’s leg on me at night. I really enjoyed Bali.

My Reflection about my Digital Portfolios
In grade five, we made three digital portfolios. The first one that we made was this blog. We started making blogs since August. At first, I thought that making a blog would be very hard, but it turned out quite easier than expected. In making a blog, I learned how to express ourselves on the Internet.
The second digital portfolio that we made was the google pages. We made the google pages with google page maker. The google pages was also easy to make. The thing that made the google pages hard was the navigation because it was not automatic. In making this google pages, I learned how to put a navigation.
The last digital portfolio that we made was in Iweb. This digital portfolio was for our parents to see. In this digital portfolio I was tired of always making reflections. The good thing out of that was that I knew how to write good reflections. The thing that I like about the Iweb is that the navigation is automatic.
Out of all of these digital portfolios, making the blog was the easiest because I didn't have to worry about the navigation. The second easiest to make was the Iweb because the navigation was automatic. The google pages was the hardest to make because the navigation was not automatic. Even though all of these digital portfolio has different values, I still like all of them.

The Great Billy Cart Race Day
On Thursday the 6th of March 2008, we had a billy cart race. We had it in front of Hansen's house. We were all excited about the great billy cart race. The great billy cart race started from 10:00 in the morning until 12:30 in the afternoon.
The great billy cart race wasn't the only race that we had during the day. We also had a race called the most beautiful billy cart competition. That competition was about who had the most creative design. In that competition, other people voted on the most beautiful billy cart. This competition started before we left for Hansen's house.
When we got to Hansen's house, we got out a big score board so that we could see who was in the lead. Many people fell off which made it hard to watch someone get hurt. Shila fell off two times and she got scared to go the last time but her mother wanted her to go. So she did.
The last race we had was the adults race. That race was for our parents and other adults to race on our billy carts. It was also very exciting. We were all wondering who would be the winner for this race. The participants of this race was Ibu Sanny (Hansen's mother), Shila's father and Pak Andre ( our photographer).
At our next chapel, the winners of the race will get their medals. The great billy cart race winners were: Andrew who won first place, Shila who won second place, and Marchell who was third, and the last place. Shila's timing was 0.01 seconds then from Andrew. The winners of the most beautiful billy cart was Ristia in first place, Desiree in second race, and Shila in third place. In the adults race, the first place was Ibu Sanny, second place was Pak Andre, and third place was Shila's father. So, basically Shila's family got three medals!!!
